Sixty new Okuma Cerros baitcast reels are available to be won by Sealy Big Bass Splash anglers
fishing Okuma rods and/or reels in 2015. Registration is free!

We're tremendously excited about the all-new Cerros baitcast reel. It's one thing to share the "good word" on the reel, but we'd rather share the reel itself, and our appreciation for Okuma customers.

Over five Sealy Big Bass Splash events in 2015, anglers fishing Okuma products will have the opportunity to win up to sixty Cerros baitcast reels. The promotion is called "Cerros Saturday," here's how it works.

a. BEFORE THE EVENT BEGINS- Bring your Okuma rod and/or reel by the Okuma tent at the event, or purchase a piece of Okuma equipment on site. The promotion is available to Okuma product owners only.

b. Let Okuma personnel know that you want to enter "Cerros Saturday." They will take your name and offer you a raffle ticket.

There are two ways to win.

1. The highest placing Cerros Saturday registrant, at each of the seven hourly weigh periods will win a reel. You do not have to win the hour overall, you only have to be the highest placing angler that's registered for the Okuma Cerros Saturday promotion.

2. Five additional winners will be chosen at random from the raffle tickets at the end of Saturday's fishing. With this, every entrant has a chance to win a reel, regardless of fishing results.

We appreciate our Okuma customers and look forward to offering them a level of competition and awards just for them.

January 04, 2013 -
The 2013 tournament season looks to be very exciting! We are happy to announce a new tournament has been added to our Big Bass Splash series. This event will be held on Lake Ouachita, which is located just outside of Hot Springs in Mount Ida, Arkansas.

Second, we have entered into a joint marketing agreement with B.A.S.S. to market and promote the Big Bass Splash series of events. Our tournaments will be referred to as the Big Bass Splash presented by Sealy Outdoors and B.A.S.S.

Our goal is that this joint venture will help bass fishing grow and get more people involved in fishing. In addition, our weigh-ins will be streamed live on Bassmaster.com and the events will be covered in B.A.S.S. media.

If you have never fished a Big Bass tournament before, then allow me to explain: The Big Bass Splash is the world's largest amateur big bass fishing tournament and has been featured on a National Geographic television special. Established in 1984, Sealy Outdoors attracts thousands of amateur anglers to weekend contests on some of the country's best trophy bass lakes. Guides on those lakes and top-level professional anglers are not allowed to compete.

Weigh ins are held hourly, with as many as 12 big bass each hour earning a share of the prize money.

A radio station broadcasting live at tournament sites will announce Official starts each morning of the event and also broadcast the updates as bass are being weighed in each hour. If you can beat the weights for that hour then you weigh your fish, if not you can pick and choose which hour you can cash in.

Boat checks and random polygraphs are administered at the end of each hour prior to contestants going back to fish.

There are other ways you can win valuable prizes, such as exact weights, early bird entries, random elimination drawing. In addition to these, we have the Optional Bonus Games "You Can't Win If You Don't Play".

At the conclusion of the tournament, the top five heaviest bass weighed in will win the overall grand prizes.

Be sure to read all the rules and regulations and if you have any questions, please ask our tournament officials before you fish.

We will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary in April 2014 on Lake Sam Rayburn, Texas with a $1 Million Guaranteed Payout. We invite you to come be a part of the oldest and largest Big Bass tournament event held in fishing history and capture your share of the $1 Million Guaranteed Payout. Make plans to come Fish With Us!

It's what we call Fishing, Family & Fun for everyone and "Where Amateurs WIN Like The Pros!"
