It was a weekend of Fishing, Family & Fun at this year’s Sealy Outdoors Big Bass Splash on Lake Sam Rayburn, TX with a $550,000 Guaranteed Payout in Cash & Prizes. Over 3,000 anglers, representing multiple states across the country came to compete in this annual event. During this 3-day event there were 657 fish brought to the scales totaling 2832.31 lbs.
2nd Place Overall went to Jackson Culpepper of Houston, TX with his 9.41 pounder netting him $20,000 plus an additional $5,000 in hourly winnings during the Bonus 8-9 Hour on Sunday.
3rd Place Overall went to Martin Painter of Yantis, TX with his 9.25 bass netting him $15,000 plus an additional $5,000 in hourly winnings during the Bonus 12-1 Hour on Sunday.
4th Place Overall went to Billy Cloud of Brookeland, TX with his 9.10 pounder netting him $10,000 plus $2,500 in hourly winnings during the 7-8 Hour on Saturday.
5th Place Overall went to Hayden Heck of Lufkin, TX with his 8.91 pounder netting him $5,000 plus an additional $2,500 in hourly winnings during the 9-10 Hour on Day 1-Friday.
Richard Jordan of Tioga, TX was the lucky winner of the famous BBS Elimination Drawing. Richard won a fully rigged Phoenix 819 Pro bass boat powered by Mercury, equipped w/Minn Kota and Humminbird.
