The 2024 Big Bass Splash on Toledo Bend Reservoir was one for the memory books! What started off with no electricity and running off generators turned out to be a beautiful weekend of Fishing, Family and Fun with $500,000 Guaranteed in Cash and Prizes!! 2,247 anglers, representing multiple states across the country, came to compete in this annual event. We want to say Thank You to all our amazing angler’s for being patient during these obstacles. Over the three days, there were 710 fish weighed in for a total of 3,135.66 lbs.
Ryan Hanson of Bernice, LA weighed in his 10.64-pound big bass during the 8-9 Bonus T-shirt hour on Day 2 winning him $5,000 plus the 1st Place Overall and the keys to a 2024 Phoenix 721 Pro XP powered by Mercury, equipped with Minn Kota Trolling Motor, Humminbird Electronics and Power Pole plus and additional $5,000! This prize package is valued at over $100,000. Big Congrats Ryan on your Win!
2nd Place Overall went to Josh Jones Jr of Newton, TX with a 10.58-pound bass netting him $15,000 plus an additional $5,000 in hourly winnings during the 8-9 Bonus T-shirt hour on Sunday.
3rd Place Overall was Layne Lacaze of Robeline, LA with a 10.52-pound bass netting him $10,000 plus an additional $5,000 in hourly winnings during the 12-1 Bonus T-shirt hour on Saturday.
4th Place Overall was Ryan Wilkerson of Many, LA with a 10.06-pound bass netting him $5,000 plus an additional $5,000 in hourly winnings during the 12-1 Bonus T-shirt hour on Friday.
5th Place Overall was Shawn Wellman with a 9.95-pound bass netting him $2,500 plus an additional $2,500 in hourly winnings during the 9-10 hour on Sunday.
