It was the 1-2 o’clock hour of the day when Ray Albritton weighed in his 10.04 not only to WIN the tournament, but also be the 2nd angler to Win 2 tournaments on the same lake! It was a weekend of Fishing, Family & Fun at this year’s Sealy Outdoors Big Bass Splash on Lake Toledo Bend, LA with a $500,000 Guaranteed Payout in Cash & Prizes. Over 2,300 anglers, representing multiple states across the country came to compete in this annual event. During this 3-day event there were 754 fish brought to the scales totaling 3141.41 lbs.
2nd Place Overall went to Bobby Henderson of Stonewall, LA with his 8.86 pounder netting him $15,000 plus an additional $2,500 in hourly winnings during the 1-2 Hour on Saturday.
3rd Place Overall went to Clay Carpenter of Pasadena, TX with his 8.74 bass netting him $10,000 plus an additional $2,500 in hourly winnings during the 7-8 Hour on Friday.
4th Place Overall went to Cameron Head of Joaquin, TX with his 8.42 pounder netting him $5,000 plus an additional $5,000 in hourly winnings during the 8-9 Bonus Hour on Sunday.
5th Place Overall went to Robert Watkins of Carencro, LA with his 8.30 pounder netting him $2,500 plus an additional $2,500 in hourly winnings during the 9-10 Hour on Friday.
Drake Hebert (15 year old) of Lafayette, LA was the lucky winner of the famous BBS Elimination Drawing just 2 days before his 16th Birthday! Drake won a fully rigged Phoenix 819 Pro bass boat powered by Mercury, equipped w/Minn Kota and Humminbird.

Since the Exact 5.00 on Saturday along with the 3.00 and 5.00 on Sunday went unclaimed, 3 drawings were held during the awards ceremony amongst all of the contestant’s entry forms. Our Little Anglers Division is always a crowd pleaser. Each day children from ages 5-12 compete for the top 3 places in each of the 4 divisions: Bass-Catfish-Crappie-Perch each day.
