William DeWare Wins Big Bass Splash On Lake Sam Rayburn “Fall Shootout” With A 10.84

It was a beautiful weekend of Fishing, Family & Fun at Big Bass Splash – Lake Sam Rayburn “Fall Shootout”, TX 2021. With a $180,000 Guaranteed Payout in cash & prizes, 850 anglers, representing multiple states across the country, came to compete in this annual event. Over this two day event there were 293 fish weighed in totaling 1201.24 pounds.

William “Robert” DeWare of New Braunfels, TX weighed in his 10.84 big bass on Saturday during the 12-1 Bonus Hour winning him $2,000 plus the 1st Place Overall win and the keys to a Nitro Z19 Powered by Mercury, equipped with Minn Kota, Lowrance, Navionics & Power Pole; Plus $5,000 CASH. This prize package is valued at over $50k.

2nd Place overall with an 8.42 big bass was Charlie Parker of Zavalla, TX. Charlie wins  $2,500 Cash in addition to his Saturday 1-2 Hour winnings of $1,000. 3rd Place overall was Jason Collins of Pineland, TX with an 8.36 big bass winning him $2,000 in Cash and $2,000 in Hourly winnings for the Sunday 12-1 Bonus Hour. In 4th Place was Johnny Mckee of Woodville ,TX with his 7.76 big bass netting him $1,500 in Cash, in addition to his Sunday 8-9 Bonus Hour winnings of $2,000. Rounding out the Overall Top Five in 5th Place was Derek Mundy of Broaddus, TX with a 7.60 big bass. He took home $1,000 Cash plus $1,000 hourly winnings for the Saturday 7-8 Hour.

The Famous Big Bass Splash “Elimination Drawing” for a fully rigged Tracker Pro Team 175 TF, equipped with Mercury 75 4-Stroke valued at $23,560 was won by Cody Jett of Leesville, LA.

$4,000 was raised for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Our next Big Bass Splash will be on Lake Guntersville, AL in Scottsboro, AL on March 25-26-27, 2022.
