Over 1300 anglers competed for the $260K Guaranteed Cash & Prizes at the Big Bass Splash on Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, AL this year. Congratulations to William Williams of Henderson, KY for winning the Lake Guntersville Big Bass Splash with an 8.59 taking home a brand new 2021 Nitro Z20 powered by Mercury. As Williams held up his 1st Place trophy he said he felt like KVD standing on that stage. This is exactly why we do what we do at the Big Bass Splash, we want “Where Amateurs Win Like the Pros!”
2nd Place went to Barron Martin of Gordo, AL with his 8.31 he weighed in Sunday during the 11-12 Hour. Barron won $2,500 Cash plus hourly winnings of $1500. 3rd Place went to Jeff Sparks of Chickamauga, GA with his 7.86 bass and received $2,000 plus $1,500 for his hourly winnings on Sunday 9-10 Hour. Cindy Cromwell of Arlington, TN with a 7.74. Cindy cashed in $1,500 for her 4th Place overall win plus hourly winnings of $1,500 for the Sunday 8-9 Hour. Rounding out the top 5 places was Darrel Jackson of Guntersville, AL with his 7.63 pounder. Darrel received $1,000 for 5th Place overall plus an additional $3,000 for his hourly winnings during the bonus hour on the Saturday 12-1 Hour.
The Famous Big Bass Splash “Elimination Drawing” for a fully rigged Triton 179 TRX bass boat powered by Mercury and equipped with Minn Kota Trolling Motor and Lowrance Electronics was won by Danny Baggett of Tennessee Ridge.
At this year’s event the Big Bass Splash donated $6,500 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama. Our next Big Bass Splash will be held on Lake Sam Rayburn, TX at the Umphrey Family Pavilion in Brookeland, TX on April 16-17-18, 2021.
